Finally it is Friday!!!

Friday comes allong but only once in a week, and though we scurry around in our feeble attempts to wrap up our busy week's plans so we can enjoy our weekend, lets try to enjoy the day as if it were our last. Tim McGraw sang a song "live like you were dying". It is about waiting until you are dying before you really live. I prefer a song by 33 Miles called "One life to love". it has a similar synopsis. If today were my last day what would I want my loved ones to know? That in itself is simple, i would want them to know the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. Secondly, I want my wife to know that she is it!! no one has ever touched me the way she has. Moreover, I would want my children to know I love them. Live your life with the intent of never getting another day. The Bible says, boast thou self not of the morrow, Thou knowest not what a day may bring forthour life is like a vapor, it appeareth for a little while then vanisheth away(that is my paraphrase). Remember our plans are not His plans.

I know this is kind of a ramble, but that is what my brain is like. I see it one way in my head and when it comes out it is totally different.

So on fridays, i propose we live like it is our last, afterall our Savior died on a friday.

Thankful Thursdays

Wow!!!!! What a wife! My wife is the best EVER!!!!



I love it when my wife talks about Jesus and God speaking to her. I am so thankful for a wife who can, not only listen to God, but also obey God.

I am thankful for friends who have a sense of humor as ridiculous as mine. Especially when they understand that I am like a dog chasing cars, I just do things.

I am thankful for my Inlaws. even though ew may not always see eye to eye, they are alway there for me.

Do you realize how lucky we are to be able to acually go where we want when we want without some idiot with a gun telling us we can't. People are so sensative about the war and people dying for our country, it seems as if they forgot about WWII. Hitler tried to take over europe and then the whole world and WE stopped him. How, you ask. With bombs, bullets, and bayonets and anything else we could throw at them. and in Iraq, we are stopping them. How you ask? The same way. There are a few men and women who still have principals and a sense of patriotism that understand that in order to stay FREE, people have to die.

I am thankful for our soldiers.
